Fixed Rate IRA

The Fixed Rate IRA offers a guaranteed rate of interest until maturity, based on a one time deposit. Interest is paid quarterly and at maturity, with terms up to 5 years. This IRA offers stability for those who are conservative in their retirement planning.

Variable Rate IRA

The 18-month IRA allows you to make additional deposits so that you can deposit the maximum contribution for the tax year when it is convenient for you and not in one lump sum. It also means you can move funds from other IRAs through either a transfer or rollover. Additional deposits are given the same maturity date as the original deposit. Interest is compounded quarterly and gives you the flexibility of a variable interest rate.
