David W. Pope Retires from the Board of Directors

Craig S. Connor, Chairman and CEO of County National Bank (CNB), announces the recent retirement of David W. Pope from the Board of Directors of CNB Community Bancorp, Inc.


David W. Pope was first elected to the Board of Directors of Hillsdale County National Bank in 1981, and served continuously with distinction from that time until April 10, 2019 when he retired from the Board of Directors.

During his thirty-eight years of hard work, Director Pope contributed mightily to the overall success and growth of Hillsdale County National Bank and earned a reputation for excellence in banking.  David provided outstanding service protecting the interests of all of the stakeholders while balancing the needs and welfare of our shareholders, customers, communities and employees.  Director Pope’s participation on the Board and its subcommittees always included common sense, logic, wise-counsel and concern for Hillsdale County National Bank’s safety and soundness.

The entire Hillsdale County National Bank staff, officers and Board members commend and sincerely thank David for his tremendous contributions to guiding the Bank to where it is today and wish him the very best.
