County National Bank (CNB) donated $3,000 to Jackson District Library’s 2018 Summer Reading Program.
For more than 25 years, the Jackson District Library has worked to promote lifelong learning and literacy. The library works extensively to offer library services to the entire community. They offer programs and resources designed to assist people of all age groups to improve their literacy skills to achieve their personal goals and succeed in life. One way they do this is through the Summer Reading Program. Beginning on June 1 until July 28, everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the library’s great variety of programs that will capture the theme Libraries Rock.
In 2017, almost 3,000 people signed up for the Summer Reading Program. This year, they hope to make it bigger and better than ever before. Participants can register for this eight-week program at any of the 13 Jackson District Library branches or by visiting their website. Readers will be encouraged to continue reading in the summer by reporting their success, receiving fun badges, and then having the chance to win great prizes
County National Bank is proud to support the Jackson District Library and their efforts to encourage improved literacy for everyone.
