Customer Service Representative - Jackson

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while opening and closing all types of depository accounts and processing teller transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.   Must be able to assist customers with questions concerning the bank’s products and services, and recognize cross-selling and referral opportunities.  This is a full-time position with hours scheduled Monday – Saturday.

Skill Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous banking/teller experience a plus

Credit Analyst - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing and monitoring the credit worthiness of the bank’s customers by analyzing financial statements, tax returns and bank references to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank.

Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)

Job Summary

This position proactively solicits new residential mortgage business and sells County National Bank products to meet established loan quality and production goals.

In this on-going sales role, the MLO continually identifies, develops and maintains a quality network of business relationships that serve as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.  A MLO’s network may consist of real estate professionals, builders, professional and personal contacts, and is enhanced by the MLO’s regular participation in business related development opportunities, community efforts to promote homeownership and professional organizations.

The MLO responds to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from other County National Bank business channels.  The MLO conducts interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determines customer financing objectives, advises customers of products/pricing policies and guidelines and gather any additional required information.   The MLO ensures exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements. 

Skill Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of mortgage lending experience with a focus on generating self-sourced business preferred.
  • Experience with Freddie Mac, FHLBI, GRH, and government lending is preferred.
  • Understanding of Federal Regulations governing Real Estate Lending.
  • Understanding of basic accounting procedures and mathematics with the ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide financial alternatives.

Compliance Officer - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the bank’s compliance efforts.  This includes the authority to delegate responsibilities to Compliance Committee members, and devote sufficient bank time and resources necessary to maintain compliance with laws and regulations. Also responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC, including all functions required by these regulations.

Skill Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance is preferred; otherwise, must have a combination of applicable education and experience.
  • Possess (or ability to obtain) and maintain Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation. 
  • Possess diverse working knowledge of bank related laws (federal and state) and regulations.
  • Fully knowledgeable of the Bank Secrecy Act and all related regulations. 
  • Understand the bank’s products, services, customers, and geographic locations, and the potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks associated with those activities.

Part-time Teller - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position provides outstanding customer service while performing a variety of customer savings, checking and credit account transactions, as well as customer services for cashier’s checks, money orders, etc.  May assist supervisor with various branch procedures, including opening and closing deposit accounts, ATM balancing, and Vault balancing, etc.  This is a part-time position working on average less than 30 hours per week scheduled Monday – Saturday.
