Accounting Specialist - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for performing routine duties in accounting and accounts payable; including processing invoices, proofing accounting documents, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accounting documentation.  Also provides training to staff on Accounts Payable system and supports department as needed. 

Skill Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • Associate degree preferred with focus on Accounting, Bachelor’s degree optional.  Comparable accounts payable or accounting experience will be considered.
  • Previous banking experience helpful, but not required.
  • Passion for providing a stellar customer service experience to all customers (external and internal) and ability to instill this passion in others.

Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Specialist II - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining appropriate monitoring activities to ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations, as documented in the BSA Policy.

HR Specialist - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position assists the Human Resources Department in day-to-day operations, employee training, payroll and will serves as Wellness Champion by lead wellness initiatives as determined by management.  May also specialize in two or more HR functions such as recruitment, employment law, employee relations, benefit administration, affirmative action or compensation analysis.

Customer Service Representative - Hillsdale

Job Summary

This position serves on the rotation of the department’s main duties of large item returns, stop payments, customer overdrafts, non-posts, ATM, Health Saving Account processing and adjustments.  The Customer Service Department performs the duty of the main switchboard for the Bank and handles incoming phone calls for the main number and the Bank’s toll free number.  Other duties include filing documents & assisting in file maintenance processing.  This is a full-time position with hours schedule Mon - Sat.

Part-time Teller - Jackson, Jonesville & Spring Arbor

Job Summary

This position provides outstanding customer service while performing a variety of customer savings, checking and credit account transactions, as well as customer services for cashier’s checks, money orders, etc.  May assist supervisor with various branch procedures, including opening and closing deposit accounts, ATM balancing, and Vault balancing, etc.  This is a part-time position working on average less than 30 hours per week scheduled Monday – Saturday.
