Quicken and Internet Banking

On Sunday December 6th County National Bank completed a conversion of our internet banking system.  This conversion required changes in the Quicken setup.  If you have been using Quicken to access your accounts online and are now experiencing problems connecting you will need to perform the following procedures in order to get the required changes in Quicken.

Instructions to Deactivate and Reactivate Express Web Connect Account.

Ø  Right click the account in the Quicken Account List

Ø  Select Edit Account from pop-up.

Ø  Click the Online Services tab. In the One Step Update section, it will state the connection method being used. Disable the account by clicking on the "Remove From One Step Update" button.

To Reactivate with Web Connect downloads:

Ø  Login onto your FI website from an external browser to initiate a download of this Web Connect file into Quicken. When presented with the screen below, choose the "Use an existing Quicken account" radio button.

Now your account will be connected via Web Connect. Quicken may prompt you to activate One Step Update after a successful Web Connect download.

 Reactivating EWC:

NOTE: If the financial Institution supports Direct Connect downloads, activating One Step Update will default to Direct Connect since it is the preferred method of connectivity.

Ø  If you are using Web Connect, in the Account Details screen, click the "Activate One Step Update" button and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the One Step Update activation process. Now the account will be connected using Express Web Connect.
